Walli Baig is a Chicago based producer and strategy consultant that is focused on projects that amplify underrepresented voices and showcase diverse storytelling. He is currently a Campaign Coordinator for Mustache (Dir. Imran J. Khan), Hanging By A Wire (Dir. Mo Naqvi), and Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother (Dir. Bilal Tariq).
He’s curated business partnerships with nationwide reach, executed free community screenings across all regions of the country, and activated different networks across industries into entertainment.
Walli graduated Magna Cum Laude from DePaul University in 2025, and has since worked at Live Nation Entertainment under their Global Touring Division. He has also worked as a Producer’s Intern on The Alchemy of Being Okay (Dir. Sarah Mokh), and a Strategy and Financial Analyst for a Consulting & Advisory firm on a multi-million dollar investment into entertainment by completing deep research and understanding of MENA, South-Asian, and Muslim OTTs. Walli’s undergraduate internships were at The Paley Center for Media as a Peter Roth Fellow, and then a Creative Content Marketing Intern at Warner Brothers Discovery.
He believes that Chicago is a hub for creativity and urges all projects to consider locating here and become part of the new Film in Chicago movement! Walli has connected with DCASE, Illinois Film Office, Cinespace Studio, DePaul Film School, and more!
